You Cannot Hit a Target You Cannot See

Picture an archer standing in a field, bow drawn, firing arrow after arrow into the fog. No target in sight. Just shooting, hoping something lands. We would feel for that archer. And yet it is exactly how many of us live.
We say we want to be happy, to feel better, to get our life together. Those are beautiful wishes, but they are fog, not targets. You cannot hit a bullseye you have never drawn. Your mind simply does not know where to aim.
So let us draw the target. Not your whole life's purpose, just one ring you can actually see. What would better look like this month? If you woke up and one thing had changed, what would it be? Name it plainly enough that you would know if you hit it.
A clear target does two things. It gives your effort somewhere to go, and it lets you celebrate when you land near it. Vague goals can never be reached, because you can never tell that you have arrived.
You do not need perfect aim today. You just need to take the blindfold off and pick one thing to point at. The arrows get truer from there.
