Celebrate the Small Wins

Most of us save our celebration for the finish line. The big goal, the final result, the someday when we have finally arrived. So we walk for months, sometimes years, without ever once stopping to say, look how far I have come.
That is a costly mistake. Momentum is not built by the finish line. It is built by the small wins along the way, noticed and counted. Every tiny step forward is evidence that you are moving, and your mind needs that evidence to keep going.
So start tracking the small things. The hard conversation you finally had. The morning you got up and tried again. The old reaction you caught before it ran the show. These are not nothing. They are the whole thing, happening in slow motion.
When you can see your forward movement, you create momentum, and momentum is what keeps you on the path when motivation runs thin. Progress you cannot see feels like standing still, even when you are not.
Be generous with your own celebrations. You are allowed to be proud of a small step. Small steps, repeated, are how every big change has ever happened.
